Hotel Thissio Athens

Excellent location with stunning views of a notable landmark visible from the room and balcony. Impeccably clean, well-designed room and modern bathroom. Helpful staff and easy access to restaurants and transportation options. Rooftop breakfast with fresh fruits was a highlight. Would gladly return.

The location of the hotel is ideal for tourists, as it is conveniently situated close to all the ancient sites. there are various bars and nice restaurants nearby, allowing guests to easily explore the local dining scene. Previous guests have praised the comfortable rooms and friendly service provided by the staff. The breakfast served at the hotel has been described as excellent, and the view from the rooms, especially those with balconies, offers a stunning perspective of the surrounding area.

The noise from the nearby street can be bothersome at times.

We were actually surprised by the warm welcome at Thissio and the refreshing glass of water and fruit slices that were waiting for us upon arrival. The room had a cute atmosphere with charming decorations and a lovely view of the Acropolis from our balcony. The bathroom was well-stocked with quality toiletries, and the shower was clean and functional. The location was perfect, with vibrant Saturday morning markets and Greek ruins just a stone's throw away. The rooftop restaurant offered amazing views of the Acropolis and provided great service. we had a good stay at Thissio and would highly recommend it.

Great view of important landmarks. Close to key attractions and amenities. Comfortable bed. Beautiful rooftop patio. Unique and interesting setup.

Room was not private, as people could see into it from the street. Had to walk through staff area to come and go.

The location couldn't be better - all the attractions were just minutes away. We loved being able to walk to the iconic landmarks and explore the city easily. The rooftop bar offered fine views, especially at night.

The room could have been better equipped. We were disappointed to find that there was no extra blanket provided, only a thin sheet that barely passed as a blanket.

The view from the hotel is breathtaking, as it is just opposite the hill of Acropolis.

The location in the historic center is superb, just opposite the hill of Acropolis. It's convenient to walk to all the major sites and it's also close to the subway station. The view of the Acropolis from the balcony is fine, and the rooftop bar offers the same amazing view. The staff is friendly and accommodating, providing a complimentary bottle of wine and allowing a late check-out without any additional fee. The hotel is clean and the facilities are decent.
